COLUMBUS, Ohio – In preparation of the 2010 football season, the Big Ten Network is polling fans to find out which Big Ten players will be the best at their position this year. Buckeye fans can now vote for Ohio State players position-by-position on at Vote for the Big Ten’s best. 

Besides the defensive back position, which will be posted later this afternoon, the poll lists 13 Buckeyes, including nine offensive players and four defensive.

  • Running Back – Brandon Saine and Dan Herron
  • Tight End – Jake Stoneburner
  • Wide Reciever – Dane Sanzenbacher and DeVier Posey
  • Quarterback – Terrelle Pryor
  • Offensive Line – Justin Boren, Michael Brewster and Bryant Browning
  • Defensive Line – Cameron Heyward and Nathan Williams
  • Linebacker – Ross Homan and Brian Rolle
  • Defensive Back – TBA

Currently, the Buckeyes have at least one player from each position in the Top 3 results. Pryor leads in the quarterback poll with more than a third of the total vote at 39.1 percent, while Posey leads wide receivers with 29.8 percent of the vote. Also, Stoneburner (26.8 percent), Heyward (20.5 percent), Boren (19.6 percent), Saine (16.1 percent) and Homan (12.5 percent) are each among the top 3 results at their respective position.
