Berry, a redshirt sophomore, is one of the most explosive ball carriers on the team with tremendous acceleration and speed in the open field. He played in all 13 games in 2010, primarily as a return man with Jordan Hall, averaging 25.4 yards per kick return. As a tailback, he totaled 266 yards on 32 carries, including a 67-yard TD run in the win over Eastern Michigan. He had 80 yards rushing in the Marshall win and had kick returns of 45 and 42 yards against the Hurricanes.
Hyde, a sophomore, is more of a speedy, power back who gained valuable experience as a true freshman, rushing for 141 yards on 24 carries last season. He gained 32 yards on five carries vs. Eastern Michigan before running for 48 yards on nine carries in the Indiana win.
