COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten Conference released its weekly men’s gymnastics awards on Monday. Senior Jesse Tyndall was named Big Ten Gymnast of the Week following his performance in the tri-meet against Army and William & Mary on Saturday. This is the second-consecutive week Tyndall has earned this honor.
Tyndall put together another impressive meet as Ohio State won the tri-meet on Saturday. Tyndall stuck all three of his dismounts as he won rings (14.100) and high bar (13.750), while taking third overall on parallel bars (13.500). Tyndall ranks second in the nation on high bar, sixth on rings and 15th on parallel bars as he still holds the highest score on high bar of anyone this season.
This is his third win of the season on high bar and first on rings as he has six total wins this season.
