COLUMBUS, Ohio – Twenty members of the Ohio State synchronized swimming program received OSU Scholar-Athlete recognition for the 2019-20 academic year. To earn the honor, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or better.
Phoebe Coffin (human development & family science) and Breanna Malone (arts management), seniors who recently graduated, ended their careers as four-time OSU Scholar-Athletes.
Senior Kaitlyn Carboun, who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in international studies, made her third appearance on the list, along with juniors Renee Stehlik and Sarah Walsh. Sophomores Erin Fanning, Paula Luis, Cassie Neeley and senior Laila Huric were chosen for a second time. Victoria Carlson, Nikki Dzurko, Mackenzie Finn, Rose Homoelle, Paige Hopper, Olivia Malloy, Reverie Nedde, Trinity Patton, Olivia Schafer, Louisa Strutynski and Haley Watson secured their first selection.
The group was part of 647 Ohio State student-athletes recognized with the honor for the 2019-20 academic year.
