COLUMBUS, Ohio – Three members of the Ohio State women’s volleyball program earned their degrees during a virtual commencement ceremony May 3.
Bia Franklin played in 115 matches and registered 576 digs and 283 kills during her time as a Buckeye. The Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, native was a four-time OSU Scholar-Athlete and three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection. The 2018 Bucks Go Pro intern received her degree in marketing.
Camry Halm, a defensive specialist, accumulated 507 digs over the 105 matches she appeared in. Off the court, she picked up OSU Scholar-Athlete honors every year and collected a trio of Academic All-Big Ten accolades. From Apopka, Fla., Halm earned her degree in logistics management.
Elle Sandbothe transferred to Ohio State for her senior campaign from Kansas State. She led the Buckeyes with 82 blocks (76s, 6a) and was third on the team behind 256 points and 209 kills. The OSU Scholar-Athlete received her degree in human development and family science.
