Jan. 12, 2018 Fans attending athletic events on campus this evening should plan ahead and arrive early.

A water main break was reported Friday morning (Jan. 12) in the area of 2400 Olentangy River Rd. near the Jerome Schottenstein Center. The City of Columbus Public Utilities is currently on site and in the process of making repairs. Olentangy River Rd. is open to northbound traffic with one lane accessible for southbound traffic.

6 p.m. women’s hockey vs. Robert Morris at OSU Ice Rink
7 p.m. men’s volleyball vs. Stanford at St. John Arena

  • Guests attending the women’s ice hockey or men’s volleyball match and arriving from the north should use Lane Ave. to access the OSU Ice Rink and St. John Arena.

7 p.m. wrestling vs. Minnesota at Value City Arena

  • Guests attending the wrestling match and arriving from the north should use Ackerman Rd. to Fred Taylor Dr. to access public parking.

In addition, winter weather is expected during the afternoon commute and into the evening. ODOT, City of Columbus, Ohio State University and CampusParc have snow and ice removal plans in place and will be working hard throughout the afternoon and evening to keep roads, parking lots and walkways safe.

Please plan for potential traffic impacts by arriving early and avoiding Olentangy River Rd., if possible.
