Follow the steps below to access your ticket options:
Students who are not full time autumn semester (as defined by University guidelines) or who chose not to enroll are eligible for a refund. Please note that all service charges and/or processing fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. A refund request will be accepted via email from the original ticket holder’s OSU e-mail account, as long as it is received prior to the deadline. The refund request should include the full name, phone number, OSU e-mail address and the item(s) you would like to have refunded and requests must be received in the OSU Athletic Ticket Office by the given deadline to be considered. The deadline to request a refund for the student tickets is Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 5:00pm. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GRANTED AFTER THE DEADLINE.
What are the requirements to receive tickets?
Students must be enrolled as a full-time student with all fees and tuition paid to be eligible to receive student tickets. If your program is not listed below (i.e. GAA, GRA, GTA), full time status varies depending on the program/appointment with the University. Please see your program coordinator/academic advisor for more information regarding your specific program.
The definition of a full-time student is:
Undergraduate: 12 hours or more
Master, Doctoral Candidate and Graduate Professional: 8 hours or more
Post Doctoral (Post Candidacy): 3 hours
Students in their graduating semester who do not meet the full time student status requirement may order a season ticket by providing documentation from their respective college advisor on department letterhead that stipulates that the reason this student is not full time is that they will be graduating at the end of the semester.
I am only interested in going to some of the option games. Do I have to buy the student package to be eligible to buy the option games?
Students do not have to purchase the student package to be eligible to purchase the option games.
How do I redeem my ticket on game night?
Each game day, students will line up at the student entrance to the Schottenstein Center (Southwest Rotunda). Depending upon the size of the line, arena personnel may issue wristbands to maintain the integrity of the line. Approximately 90 minutes prior to tip-off, the student entrance will open. Students will proceed to the ticket redemption area where their mobile ticket will be scanned to authenticate the student ticket(s) purchased. All attendees must will be required to show valid BuckID to gain entry. Upon verification, each attendee will be provided a hard ticket for a reserved seat in the student seating area, on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be required to enter the game immediately. As in the past, those wishing to sit together must arrive at the arena and have their mobile tickets authenticated at the same time.
If I cannot attend a game how can another OSU student use my ticket?
If students are not able to attend a game they will have the option to transfer their ticket to another OSU student through the transfer process on their Ohio State Buckeyes Student Account Manager. Each student ticket will still require a valid BuckID to be shown at the student entrance for entry to the game.
Can I have my tickets printed as hard tickets?
No. Student men’s basketball tickets will only be delivered electronically.
What happens if I lose my BuckID?
If a student loses their BucKID they will need to go to the BuckID Office located on the 3rd Floor of the Ohio Union and get a new BuckID.
