Public Single Game Tickets
Single game football tickets for the 2018 season will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 29th, 2017. Subject to availability, single game tickets may be purchased by phone by calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000, online at www.ticketmaster.com, or in person at the Ohio State University Athletics Ticket Office in the Jerome Schottenstein Center.
For the 2018 football season, individual game tickets will be priced as follows:

As an alternative, season ticket holders who cannot attend a game may post them for re-sale on Buckeyes Ticket Exchange where the seller sets the asking price. The tickets are sent via e-mail to the purchaser’s e-mail address for printing at home upon completion of the transaction. Original tickets are not valid once they are sold. At what age are you required to have a ticket?
Ohio State University adheres to the Big Ten Conference policy of requiring that all guests, regardless of age, must present a valid ticket for entrance into football, men’s basketball, and men’s ice hockey games.
Fans wishing to bring small children (under the age of 2) to any of these events may purchase a lap ticket at a discounted rate for their infant. This ticket will allow the infant to enter the venue but that child must sit on their parent/guardian’s lap. If a seat must be occupied by the child and/or a carrier, then a regular ticket must be purchased.

The Ohio State Athletics Ticket Office does not maintain a waiting list for potential season ticket holders. If you are interested in becoming a season ticket holder, please see information below regarding the Buckeye Club and President’s Club.
Buckeye Club & Presidents Club
Members of The Ohio State University Athletic Department booster group, the Buckeye Club, and The Ohio State University’s development group, the President’s Club.
A group of individuals who were awarded the opportunity to purchase season football tickets based on their consecutive years of purchase in the 1980s. No new customers have been added or will be added to this purchasing group. Because no donation to the university is required, LTPs fall under these policies:
Football Letter Winners that are current dues-paying members of the OSU Men’s Varsity “O” Alumni Association
The ordering period for the public season ticket holders (Buckeye Club, President’s Club, Varsity O, and Long Time Purchasers) is in March. Renewal information will be emailed to those who ordered last year, and season tickets must be renewed online at ohiostatebuckeyes.com/tickets during the appropriate ordering period.
Letter winners in sports other than football who are current dues- paying members of OSU Men’s Varsity “O” Alumni Association or OSU Varsity “O” Women’s Alumnae Society.
Beginning in 2016, Alumni Association Sustaining and Life Members will use a new process to purchase football tickets. The lottery system in which eligible alumni applied in May and learned results in July will no longer be used.
In response to feedback from alumni, the Alumni Association is adjusting the ticket-purchasing process to provide changes in three main areas:
In the new process, you will have the opportunity to select which game(s) you want to attend, although you are not guaranteed to receive any game
You can purchase tickets for up to two games (one premier or Big Ten Conference game and one non-conference/non-premier game). For non-conference/non-premier games, you can purchase up to four tickets
When you complete the ticket purchasing process, you know which tickets you are getting to which game(s).

The Ohio State Ticket Office will not release tickets if the name on the ID and credit card does not match the name used to purchase the tickets, or if the photo on the ID does not appear to be the a photo of the person retrieving the tickets. The original ticket holder may designate another individual to pick up their tickets by contacting us in writing prior to event day. Requests must be approved in advance by the Ohio State Athletics Ticket Office. OSU students are required to pick up their own athletic tickets and must present their Buck ID at time of pick up.
Will-Call for the following groups is located at Gate 5 near the northwest corner of Ohio Stadium and will open 4 hours prior to kickoff and close after halftime:
The following locations will open 2 hours prior to kickoff and remain open until halftime for the specific groups noted:
*Please note that all parking passes being held in will call must be picked up prior to 5:00pm ET on the Friday before the game at the main ticket office located in the Schottenstein Center. During normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm), will call for all groups listed above is at the main ticket office located at the Schottenstein Center.
Visiting Team Will-Call is located in the NE corner of Ohio Stadium at Gate 6 and opens upon the arrival of the visiting team representatives which is no earlier than 2 hours prior to kickoff:
Buckeye Club members at the Big Ten Champions Level or higher and Varsity O Football: Any away games that you are eligible for will be made available on your invoice. Away games are subject to availability and your order may be refunded if the demand for tickets exceeds the allotment Ohio State receives for any away game. Away game tickets will be mailed approximately 2-3 weeks before the actual game.
A limited number of away game football tickets will be made available during the away game ticket sale to students, which will occur after the initial sale of student season ticket packages. The opportunity to purchase away game tickets will be available when you login to your OHIO STATE STUDENT TICKET ACCOUNT during the student football away game ordering periods. To be eligible to purchase away game tickets, you must purchase a student season ticket package for the upcoming season and meet all eligibility requirements to pick up tickets in the fall. Student away game ticket limit is one per OSU student (2 if married) but quantities are very limited. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis until the student allotment is exhausted. Students interested in sitting together at away games must pick up their away game tickets together at the Schottenstein Center. No student tickets will be mailed. Student away game pick up instructions will be sent via email during the week of the actual away game.
A limited number of away game football tickets will be made available during the faculty/staff away game ticket sale. Faculty/staff are limited to 2 tickets per away game and must have purchased faculty/staff full season tickets or the non-conference ticket package in order to be eligible to purchase away game tickets. Faculty/staff members interested in purchasing away game tickets should log into their OHIO STATE BUCKEYES ACCOUNT to place their away game order(s) when the sale begins. Faculty/staff away game tickets are very limited and will only be sold until the allotment is exhausted. Faculty/staff away game tickets will be mailed approximately 2-3 weeks before the actual game.
The away game allotments that we receive are usually minimal. We do not typically have an away game sale for our alumni or general public. We encourage you to contact the host school for any availability they may have.
Away game tickets purchased through the Ohio State Athletics Ticket Office are typically mailed unless the original account holder requests otherwise. Student away game tickets are not mailed and must be picked up in person at the Ticket Office in Columbus as instructed in the instructions that will be sent via email during the week of the actual game. Students interested in sitting together at away games must pick up their away game tickets together at the Schottenstein Center. Any tickets not picked up in Columbus by the close of business on Wednesday may be picked up on game day at visiting team Will-Call once gates open.
Duplicate tickets may be requested due to the following situations which include but are not limited to: tickets not received in the mail from the Ohio State Athletics Ticket Office, tickets which are lost, stolen, washed, destroyed or lost via 3rd party mailing.
Need your tickets duplicated? Tickets can easily be managed online by logging into your Ohio State Buckeyes Account and adding your tickets to your smart phone or transferring them to someone else. This process will generate new tickets and barcodes for you much like the duplication process that would take place in our office, but will also save you from having to come to our office in person to pick them up as you will be able to manage them directly from your smartphone. To transfer your tickets to someone else, log into your account, click on “Manage Tickets”, select the seats for the game you would like to forward, and select the “Transfer” option. Follow the on-screen prompts to guide you through the rest of the process and check out our Digital Ticketing Guide for more details. If you have problems with the forwarding process, feel free to contact our office at 1-800-GOBUCKS and a representative will assist you.
Requests must be made by the original account holder in person or IN WRITING via e-mail to email@example.com or by fax to (614)688-3032. When making the request, the original account holder may give one alternate pick up name if necessary. Student duplicate tickets may only be picked up by the original student ticket holder. NOTE: Our e-mail account and fax machine are not closely monitored on game day. If duplicates are not requested prior to game day, the original account holder must come, in person, to the Ohio State Ticket Office in the southeast corner of the Schottenstein Center. Our ticket windows are open at least 4 hours prior to kickoff until halftime on Saturday’s of which a home football game occurs.
Requests will be accepted starting 4 days prior to the athletic event. Duplicate requests could take up to 48 hours to be filled. We will not accept original tickets being returned at a later date for a refund.
Duplicate tickets are never mailed. Football home game duplicates may be picked up at the Ohio State Ticket Office in the Schottenstein Center
during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm). On game day, duplicate tickets can be picked up at Gate 5 near the northwest corner of Ohio Stadium beginning 4 hours prior to kick off. Proper photo ID is required for pick up.
Please note that all parking passes being held in will call, including reprinted parking passes, must be picked up prior to 5:00pm ET on the Friday before the game at the main ticket office located in the Schottenstein Center.
Once the duplicate request is submitted, the bar code on the original ticket will be voided. Once a duplicate request is submitted, the request cannot be revoked at a later time, even if the originals are located.
If a full season ticket package has not been received in the mail from the OSU Ticket Office four days prior to the first game, we will create duplicates for the first two games of the package. If the full package is still not received by four days prior to the third game, duplicates will be created for the remaining games in the season ticket package.
For those tickets purchased from Ticketmaster:
If you lost your Print-at-Home ticket you can print another copy. But if you’re worried someone might find and try to use it, please contact TM Fan Support at 1-800-653-8000 to get a replacement ticket with a brand-new barcode – that way only you can get in!
If the paper ticket you bought online or by phone is lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed please contact Fan Support. We’ll just need your order confirmation number or the credit card used for purchase. Note: Ticketmaster tickets turn black in hot spots (direct sunlight, etc.) because we print on heat-sensitive paper – please keep your tickets cool!
If you bought your lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed ticket at a Ticketmaster retail location please return to the same location.
Away game duplicates
Duplicates for away game tickets purchased through the Ohio State Ticket Office, the request must submitted to the Ohio State Ticket Office by the original account holder in person or in writing. Duplicate requests will be accepted prior to game day during normal business hours. Ohio State away game duplicate tickets need to be picked up at the away game site at the visiting team will call. The visiting team will call opens on the day of the game no sooner than 90 minutes prior to kickoff.
Ohio State Department of Athletics cannot guarantee that any tickets purchased from a third party source are valid or that they will allow you entry into the stadium/arena. Tickets should always be purchased from an authorized ticket agent. The Ohio State Athletics Ticket Office, Ticketmaster, and the Ohio State Buckeyes Ticket Exchange are the only authorized sources for tickets to Ohio State events. Fans purchasing tickets from unauthorized sources (including StubHub, Vivid Seats, Craigslist, EBay, and ticket brokers) assume the risk that tickets purchased could be counterfeit or that the barcodes have been otherwise invalidated. Guests with invalid tickets will be denied entry to the venue and will have no recourse for reimbursement or other compensation.
Mobile Phone Entry: Only Ticketmaster mobile-compatible tickets (generated by Ticketmaster and shown on a mobile device as a QR code, not a standard barcode) will be allowed to enter the venue via mobile device. Please refer to the Digital Ticketing Guide for further mobile entry instructions. Due to increased fraudulent activity with traditional Print-at-Home (PDF) style tickets, the Ohio State Department of Athletics and Schottenstein Center will eliminate Print-at-Home/TicketFast tickets beginning with the 2018 fall/winter athletic seasons. Although ticket buyers will no longer have the option to print their tickets at home, fans still have a quick delivery and entry option by utilizing mobile entry offered via My Ohio State Buckeyes Account and Ticketmaster.com. Details on how to manage your tickets and utilize the mobile entry options can be found by visiting the Ohio State Digital Ticketing Guide. Fans will also still have the option to receive traditional hard stock tickets via mail or will call. We are hopeful that this change will reduce the prevalence of counterfeit tickets in circulation and lead to a better game day experience for all Buckeye Fans.

How can I purchase tickets from other fans?

If I cannot attend an event, is my ticket refundable?
All tickets purchased through the OSU Ticket Office are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Can I lose my ticket privileges?
Yes, you may lose your ticket privileges if you have engaged in conduct that is determined, by either OSU or the NCAA, to be in violation of any NCAA rule or if, in OSU’s reasonable discretion, you have otherwise taken any action that jeopardizes the eligibility of OSU’s programs or its student-athletes.
