COLUMBUS, Ohio–Fans have the opportunity to buy one ticket and get a second free for the Purdue at Ohio State men’s basketball game Wednesday at Value City Arena. The tip time for that game is 6:30 p.m.

Tickets start at $10 and are available at and at the Ohio State ticket windows in the SE corner of the Schottenstein Center both in advance and day of game.

The Buckeyes have won nine-consecutive Big Ten Conference games after a 72-53 victory at Illinois Sunday. Ohio State is tied with Michigan State in the conference regular-season race. Both the Buckeyes and Spartans are 20-6 overall and 10-3 in the Big Ten. Purdue is ranked No. 4 nationally and is just a half-game back of the Buckeyes with a 9-3 Big Ten record, 21-3 overall.

Ohio State enters the game ranked No. 9 in the most recent Associated Press Poll. The Buckeyes are 231-54 all-time when ranked among the Top 10 teams nationally, including wins in 22 of the last 23 games when carrying a Top 10 ranking.

The last time a battle between two Top 10 teams occurred in Columbus, No. 2 Ohio State defeated No. 1 Wisconsin 49-48 Feb. 25, 2007.

Ohio State is 15-0 at home this season and combined with the women’s team, the Buckeyes are 33-0 in Columbus this season.

Ohio State won the earlier battle with Purdue in West Lafayette 70-66. The Boilermaker’s Robbie Hummel scored a career-high 35 points in that game while Ohio State’s Evan Turner also set a career best with 32 points.
