TUSCON, Ariz. – The Buckeyes are tied for second place after wrapping up the first round of the Mountain View Collegiate on Friday. The team shot an overall score of 279 (-9) in the first round.
Caley McGinty and Jillian Bourdage both fired a 68 (-4) in the first round and they are tied for third place. Bourdage tied her career-best round.
Kary Hollenbaugh carded a 71 (-1) and is tied for 18th place after 18 holes of play.
Lauren Peter finished the day even (72) and is tied for 31st place heading into round two.
Aneka Seumanutafa shot 76 (+4) in round one and is tied for 73rd.
The Mountain View Collegiate continues March 18-19 with 18 holes each day.
