On importance of TCU game:
We take this game very seriously. Everyday in practice Isaiah (Prince), Terry (McLaurin), Parris (Campbell) and Johnnie (Dixon) emphasize how big this game is and how it’s our first key game of the season.
We talked about how everyone needs to do their job. If one person doesn’t do their job, then that exposes the defense. Also, we talked about finishing the play until the whistle. – Baron Browning
It was a busy opening weekend in the NFL for the Pro Bucks, as 31 former Buckeyes took the field for 21 different teams. With touchdowns, big blocks and pick sixes recorded, Ohio State certainly made its mark on the professional circuit.

A pair of top-25 teams meet Saturday night in primetime, as No. 4 (Associated Press) Ohio State hits the road for the ﬁrst time this season to take on No. 15 TCU at 8 p.m. inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
What is a horned frog? It’s a horned lizard or a horned toad, and it became the school’s mascot in 1887 after appearing in the school yearbook. A committee picked it over the name “cactus,” and it stuck around for over 130 years. According to Merriam Webster, the horned toad is “any of several small harmless insectivorous lizards of the western U.S. and Mexico that resemble toads and have hornlike spines.” The horned frog is known for shooting blood from its eyes as a defense mechanism.
With Saturday’s 52-3 victory over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, the Ohio State football program earned its 900th victory in program history; becoming only the second team to reach that plateau.
