A scarlet Saturday is set to open conference play between Ohio State and Rutgers
The Buckeyes opened 2018 with a bang – to the tune of a victorious 77-point display on the scoreboard last Saturday vs. Oregon State. This week the Ohio State football team looks to go big again, opening B1G play against Rutgers at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Ohio Stadium.

Hall of Fame Game
A total of nine Buckeye greats are set to be inducted into the Varsity O Hall of Fame this weekend, including an on-field recognition alongside The Best Damn Band in the Land at halftime Saturday. Be ready to give these Ohio State all-timers a rousing round of applause:
Richard Bruggeman (men’s track), Cassie Dickerson (women’s soccer), Greg Drown (rifle), Linda Haussner (field hockey), Ray Hupp (men’s track), Bryan Koniecko (men’s tennis), James Laurinaitis (football), Mike Pucillo (wrestling), Jerry Welsh (men’s hockey) and Brandon Wynn (men’s gymnastics). MORE
Buckeye Walk and Skull Session – Ohio State Staples
Always a can’t miss and a great break from the tailgate, join the Buckeyes through Skull Session at St. John Arena and then the North Rotunda into Ohio Stadium. The Buckeye Walk begins at The Blackwell at approximately 1 p.m. You won’t want to miss the thunderous entrance into St. John Arena and as TBDBITL warms up for Saturday’s performance.
Fanfest and Concert series
Prior to Skull Session be sure to swing by FanFest, located just outside St. John Arena in Remembrance Park. The area offers pregame fun for all ages and also will feature live music again this year. This week, activities will get underway around noon.
1973 Big Ten and Rose Bowl Champions Honored
Welcome back Archie and the gang during a break in the first half as we honor the 1973 Big Ten Champion Buckeye who went on to defeat USC in the Rose Bowl Jan. 1, 1974.
Additional recognitions schedule Saturday include the wrestling Buckeyes, the men’s hockey and men’s soccer programs.
