The Show in #TheShoe: OSU x 2


There truly is no place like home! And after starting the 2017 campaign with a rare road opener, the Buckeyes are back where they below when toe meets leather for first time in a season – THE SHOE!

To get the 129th act of Ohio State football underway, the Buckeyes welcome another OSU – the Oregon State Beavers for a noon tilt on ABC-TV.

As in previous seasons, this weekly article is here to help you prep for gameday and plan according prior to kickoff. As always, have fun, be safe, cheer on the Buckeyes and be the best fans in the land!

Scarlet and Gray game
At halftime Saturday, potentially 1,000 Buckeye student-athletes with form up with the Best Damn Band in The Land for a Scarlet and Gray salute on the field. It is quite a site a true Buckeye fan does not want to miss and be sure to give your outstanding student-athletes a round of applause.

Be on the lookout for these goodies inside The Shoe this season …

Buckeye Walk and Skull Session – Ohio State Staples
Don’t miss the initial team trek from The Blackwell hotel through Skull Session at St. John Arena and then the North Rotunda into Ohio Stadium. The journey begins at The Blackwell at approximately 10 a.m. Be sure to be early. You won’t want to miss the thunderous entrance into St. John Arena and as TBDBITL warms up for Saturday’s performance.

Fanfest and Concert series
Prior to Skull Session be sure to swing by FanFest, located just outside St. John Arena in Remembrance Park. The area offers pregame fun for all ages and also will feature live music again this year. This week, activities will get underway around 8 a.m.

Buckeye Park at Tailgate Club
Pregame is primetime but can be a bigtime hassle. Let Buckeye Park at Tailgate Club do the work while you enjoy gameday. Buckeye Park by Tailgate Club offers customizable packages to suit your unique gameday needs, catering options to make meals a breeze and a prime reserved tailgate space in Coffey Road Park – only steps from Ohio Stadium.
