The Show in The Shoe: B1G Implications vs. MSU

Nov. 9, 2017

For the sixth time in the last eight meetings, Ohio State and Michigan State faceoff as ranked foes. Adding another wrinkle to the mix, is the home team does not always fare so well when the Spartans and Buckeyes lock up on the gridiron. In fact, the road team has won each of the last six meetings so all the more reason to WEAR YOUR SCARLET and bring it Saturday!

Wear SCARLET Saturday
A huge shout-out to Buckeye Nation for donning black and getting after the Nittany Lions two weeks ago, willing Ohio State to one of the best come-from-behind wins in recent memory. Now this week, we ask you step up to the plate again — in SCARLET this time — and get set to party on Sparty.

Military Appreciation Game — Round No. 2
With the September matchup against Army earlier this season, Ohio Stadium will serve as the stage for a second special salute to our service men and women. With Veterans’ Day taking place Friday, Ohio State will honor all who serve, who have served and who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our great nation. Please be ready to stand and applaud as we conduct several on-field recognitions, including student, Vietnam vet and POW salutes as well as enlistment ceremonies.

Fan Fest: Always a Favorite
Adjacent to GameDay outside St. John Arena in Remembrance Park, is Fan Fest. This area offers plenty of pregame fun for all ages as well as free food samples. This week, activities will get underway early before 9 a.m.

Buckeye Walk/Skull Session
Don’t miss the initial team trek from The Blackwell hotel through Skull Session at St. John Arena and then the North Rotunda into Ohio Stadium. Be sure to arrive early … 9:45 a.m. to be safe. You won’t want to miss the thunderous entrance into St. John Arena as TBDBITL warms up for Saturday’s performance.

Novembuuuuuurrrr in The Shoe: some tips to speed up your stadium entrance
Temperatures are expected to be in the upper 30s and low 40s Saturday, meaning jackets and blankets will be in hand, creating slower entry into the stadium. Please take notice of the tips below to assist in a swift entrance into the stadium and into your seats:

  • Allow for extra time
  • Open and unzip jackets
  • Unfold and loosely carry your blankets
  • Take out gloves, hats or other bulky items from your pockets and carry
  • We have more than 30 points of entry! Please enter in any gate.
    • The Gate number printed on your ticket is a suggestion, not a requirement

Reminders: Parking, No Bags and Be the Best Fans
