This season, Ohio State will debut a weekly podcast that covers all things Buckeye lacrosse. Hosted by Dominique Alexander, a captain in 2013 who just wrapped up his first season in the Premier Lacrosse League, the Buckeye Lacrosse Podcast will feature insights from head coach Nick Myers, assistant coaches, players and support staff. Listeners will gain a better understanding for all the things that make Ohio State lacrosse – and the Department of Athletics as a whole – unique.
Dominique Alexander was a four-year letterwinner at Ohio State from 2010-2013. Alexander’s career culminated in 2013 when he was an honorable mention All-American and led the Buckeyes to a 13-4 record with an NCAA Tournament quarterfinal appearance.
Following his Ohio State career, Alexander has played professionally in both Major League Lacrosse and the Premier Lacrosse League. In the MLL, he helped the hometown Ohio Machine with its first-ever league championship and debut last summer as a member of the Archers.
Alexander, a native of Baldwin, N.Y., stayed in Columbus following graduation and is a teacher and the head boy’s lacrosse coach at Olentangy Berlin High School.
