COLUMBUS, Ohio – Thad Matta, head coach of the Ohio State men’s basketball team, participated in the weekly Big Ten Teleconference Monday. He reviewed the Buckeyes’ (21-7, 11-4) games against Purdue and Michigan State last week, while looking ahead to the Wednesday meeting with Penn State and Saturday home contest vs. Michigan.

Matta also touched on Evan Turner’s health and the player of the year candidate’s record sixth Big Ten player of the week honor this season.
