The Ohio State men’s hockey team will hold the inaugural Teddy Bear Toss at the game against Michigan State at 7:05 p.m. Saturday in Value City Arena. Buckeye fans are encouraged to bring new teddy bears wrapped in plastic bags to the game. When the Buckeyes score their first goal, fans will throw the bears on the ice. Bears will also be available to purchase on the concourse before the game. They will be collected and brought by the Buckeye hockey players to Ronald McDonald House for Valentine’s Day. 

Check out the video below of one of the most successful Teddy Bear Tosses each year. The Calgary Hitmen collected 23,000 bears at their game in December.
