COLUMBUS, Ohio – Each of Ohio State’s unbeaten men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams are ranked in the initial Swimming Coaches Association of America Top 25 dual meet poll.
The 3-0 men’s swimming and diving team is ranked No. 8 in the initial poll of the season. The Buckeyes are the second-highest ranked Big Ten Conference team behind Michigan, which checks in at No. 6. A total of five Big Ten teams are ranked. Tennessee, which will compete against the Buckeyes Friday at 5:30 p.m. at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion, is ranked 15th.
The 3-0 women’s swimming and diving team is ranked No. 21. The Buckeyes are one of six Big Ten Conference schools to be ranked. Ohio University, the team’s opponent this week, is also receiving votes.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the oldest organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches.
