COLUMBUS, Ohio – Four Buckeyes were recently named summer league All-Stars. Ryan Feltner was named an All-Star in the Cape, while Dominic Canzone was an All-Star in the Valley League. Connor Curlis and Jake Vance were also named All-Stars for the Champion City Kings in the Prospect League.
Ryan Feltner – Second in the Cape League in saves for the Bourne Braves. Feltner has struck out 12 in 13.1 innings. Has not allowed a run in 11 relief appearances.
Dominic Canzone – Second in the Valley Baseball League with a .404 average (46-for-114) with three doubles, two triples, three home runs, 23 RBI and 17 stolen bases.
Connor Curlis – Fifth in the Prospect League in ERA (2.79) and second in innings pitched (51.2). 2-2 with 74 strikeouts and one save. Broke the Prospect League strikeout record with 16 strikeouts July 5.
Brady Cherry – Fifth in the Prospect League with nine home runs in 31 games. Cherry is batting .273 with 26 RBI.
Tyler Cowles –Hitting .295 (46-for-156) with 15 doubles, four home runs and 32 RBI.
Jake Vance – 4-2 with a 4.02 ERA with 46 strikeouts in 47.0 innings pitched for the Champion City Kings.
Conner Pohl – Batting .269 with four doubles and 12 RBI for the Front Royal Cardinals.
Noah West – .245 (37-for-151) with 10 doubles, two triples, five home runs, 25 RBI and 13 stolen bases for Champion City Kings.
