Wil Turner

Athletic Trainer

Wil Turner returned to The Ohio State University in 2012 and is currently assigned to the Wrestling team.

Turner received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in 1999.  After graduating from Ohio State, he attended Oregon State University and earned a Master of Science in Health and Human Performance with an integrated minor in Business Administration and Public Health Management in 2001.  He worked primarily with the Softball team as a graduate assistant.

Prior to joining Ohio State’s athletic training staff, Wil served as an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Michigan for 11 years.  Sport responsibilities included Softball, Field Hockey, Volleyball, Cross Country, and Track and Field.  Turner also taught various classes within the athletic training and physical education curriculum.

Turner is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and the Ohio Athletic Trainers’ Association.  He is originally from Bedford, OH and currently resides in Columbus OH.
