Tyler Deam

Director, Athletic Training

Tyler Deam joined the Ohio State University athletic training staff in August 2014 and serves as an assistant athletic trainer for the football and men’s tennis teams.

Deam returns to his alma mater where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Ohio State in 2012. After graduation, he attended Florida State University and earned a Master’s in Sports Management in May of 2014. While at Florida State, Deam worked with the Seminole Football and Women’s Sand Volleyball Teams as a graduate assistant athletic trainer.

As an Ohio State undergraduate, Deam assisted with the football, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball and women’s gymnastics teams. He also had a yearlong clinical rotation with the Columbus Crew.

Deam is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and the Ohio Athletic Trainers’ Association. He is originally from West Liberty, OH and currently resides in Columbus, OH.
