Tony Laurenzi joined the Ohio State University Athletic Training Staff in July of 2018 and serves as the Assistant Athletic Trainer with Rowing.
A native of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Laurenzi attended the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, where he graduated with his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Athletic Training in 2013. In the fall of 2012, Laurenzi completed a seasonal Athletic Training Student internship with the Northwestern University Football Program. After graduation, Laurenzi served as an Intern Athletic Trainer from 2013 to 2015 at Ohio State University working with Football and Men’s Tennis.
He then pursued a Master’s of Science degree at West Virginia University from 2015 to 2017, serving as a Football Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer. During his final year of graduate school, Laurenzi completed a nine month graduate work-study program at Ruby Memorial Hospital’s Level I Orthopedic Trauma Center. In June of 2017, Laurenzi returned to Ohio State University to serve as an Intern Athletic Trainer with Football and Men’s Tennis.
He currently resides in Columbus, OH with his wife Nicole.
