The 2019-20 campaign marks Tim Adams’ 23rd season with the Buckeye hockey program and his 22nd as a full-time equipment manager for the Buckeyes. He worked his 700th collegiate hockey game in February 2016.
A native of Cranberry Township, Pa., Adams, fills several different roles in the Ohio State hockey program. He negotiates all equipment purchases with various manufacturer representatives to properly outfit the Buckeyes in top-of-the-line attire. In addition, he handles the team’s everyday equipment-related repair and maintenance issues. During hockey’s offseason, Adams assists with the equipment duties surrounding various other sports at Ohio State.
A 1997 graduate of Ohio State with a degree in natural resources, Adams resides in Upper Arlington and has two sons, Nolan and Benjamin.
