Sarah Wick has been working at The Ohio State University since 2004. Wick has the responsibilities of performance and lifestyle nutrition as it relates to individual consults, team presentations, body composition and analysis, supplement specialist, injury recovery, Healthy Eating Index reports for each sport team attached to weekly educations, cooking classes, grocery store tours, dining hall tours, travel nutrition management and dealing with specialized diet plans (vegetarian, gluten free, lactose free, allergies) and eating disorders. Wick is a vital part of the student-athletes performance team and they meet weekly, biweekly or monthly for each sport team.
Wick is a graduate of Ohio State, where she majored in Medical Dietetics and later on earned her CSSD to become a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics.
Prior to working at Ohio State, Wick worked at Parkersburg Hospital, Riverside Methodist Hospital, MAX Sports Medicine and in private practice specializing in working with military personnel and professional athletes in the NFL, NHL and PGA.
Wick hails from Worthington, Ohio, and is a graduate of Worthington High School (currently Thomas Worthington).
