Nicole Jontony has been with Ohio State since 2013. Her responsibilities include nutrition counseling and education for student athletes, managing Fuel Zones and nutrition for athletes.
Jontony is a graduate of Ohio State, where she was a two-time captain of the gymnastics team, three-time Academic All-Big Ten, two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, and four-time Ohio State Scholar-Athlete. She graduated in 2013 with a degree in Medical Dietetics. Jontony later earned her Masters of Science in Allied Medicine Ohio State University.
Jontony since has helped develop the Buckeye Fuel Zone. In 2018, she was recognized by the Ohio Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and was named the 2018 Young Dietitian of the Year.
Jontony is from Carmel, Ind., where she graduated from Carmel High School.
