Nathan Quebedeaux joined The Ohio State Athletic Training Staff in June 2018, and serves as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Aquatics Department.
Prior to his arrival at The Ohio State University, Quebedeaux served as the Head Athletic Trainer at Tulane University overseeing the Sports Medicine department and worked primarily with the Greenwave Football program.
Nathan also served as the Assistant Athletics Director for Sports Medicine at Southeastern Louisiana University Athletics staff in August 2015 where he was the day-to-day contact for the Lions’ football program.
A Hammond, LA native, Quebedeaux returned to Louisiana after spending two and a half years at Temple as an Assistant Athletic Trainer from 2013-15. During his time with the Owls, he provided treatment, rehabilitation, evaluation and coverage for the university’s football, soccer, baseball and softball teams.
Prior to a stop at Vanderbilt as a Term Professional Athletic Trainer from 2012-13, Quebedeaux was a Resident Assistant Athletic Trainer for two years at the University of South Florida, where he worked with the Bulls’ football, tennis and dance teams, as well as the cheerleaders from 2010-12. He also spent the 2009 season with the National Football League’s Detroit Lions as a certified athletic training intern.
Quebedeaux received his bachelor’s degree in athletic training in 2009 from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA, where he played baseball for the Colonels. He later earned his master’s degree in exercise science in 2012 from the University of South Florida.
He currently resides in Hilliard, Ohio with his wife, Clare, and son, S.P.
