Koby Kraemer joined the Buckeyes in August 2019. He is responsible for Men’s Soccer, Men’s and Women’s Tennis.
Started at Georgia State as a strength and conditioning graduate assistant for football in 2015. He was elevated to assistant strength and conditioning coach in January 2017, responsible for baseball and softball in addition to football.
Kraemer is a former professional baseball player who signed with the Toronto Blue Jays as a free agent in 2013 and spent two years in the organization.
Kraemer graduated summa cum laude from Indiana State in 2013 with a degree in exercise science after playing football and baseball for the Sycamores, lettering six times.
While at Indiana State, he earned 2013 All-MVC Second Team honors and was recognized on the all-defensive team for this baseball efforts. He also earned MVC Baseball Scholar Athlete First Team honors in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
A native of Terre Haute, Ind., Kraemer completed his master’s in exercise science from Georgia State in December 2016. He is CPR/First Aid certified, and a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. His wife Seyma played professional soccer for Turkey after a standout career at Indiana State. They have one daughter, Kali.
