Kevn Nerl is in his fourth year as an assistant director of football equipment services. He assists equipment services director, Kevin Ries, in all aspects of equipment purchases, maintenance, repair and inventory, travel logistics to away games and budgeting.
Nerl also supervises a staff of 15 football student managers and he manages all equipment needs for the men’s and women’s golf programs at Ohio State.
A certified equipment manager, Nerl was an Ohio State football student manager for three seasons between 2011 and 2013. He then worked as an equipment intern with the Cincinnati Bengals (2014) and spent a year as an operations assistant with the Philadelphia Phillies in 2015-16.
Nerl is from Cincinnati and attended Mariemont High School. He is a 2014 graduate of Ohio State with a degree in English. He and his wife, Kate, reside in London, Ohio.
