Kevan Donovan

Director Financial Aid, Compliance

Kevan Donovan is currently an Assistant Director of Compliance.  He oversees all compliance aspects for the Track and Field and Cross Country programs and Field Hockey.  He also assists with the compliance office’s financial aid responsibilities.

Donovan returned to Ohio State in January 2019 after serving as the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance at the University of Massachusetts Lowell (2016-2019).  Prior to UMass Lowell, he worked as the Director for Compliance and Sport Management at the Patriot League (2015-2016), Assistant Director for Compliance Monitoring (2014-2015) and Compliance Coordinator (2013-2014) at Ohio State.  Donovan also was the Compliance Assistant for the College of the Holy Cross (2011-2013), Compliance Intern at Villanova University (2010-11) and Volunteer Compliance Intern at Northwestern University (2009-2010).

A native of Nashua, New Hampshire, Donovan received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences from Colby-Sawyer College in 2007. At Colby-Sawyer College, he was a four-year letter winner, Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative and co-captain for the baseball team. Donovan later received his master’s degree in sports administration from Northwestern University in 2010.
