Caroline Riewe

Assistant Performance Dietitian

Caroline Riewe joined The Ohio State University’s Performance Nutrition staff in June of 2022. As an Assistant Performance Dietitian, she works with football and men/women’s volleyball to optimize the student athlete’s overall health and performance by assessing nutritional needs and developing individualized nutrition plans.

Prior to her current role, Riewe worked as the first full-time sports dietitian with Miami (OH) University Athletics. She oversaw the nutrition operations for all the university’s athletic teams and managed all dietary accommodations in the dining halls across campus.

Riewe also serves as an Adjunct Instructor in the nutrition department within the University of Cincinnati’s College of Allied Health Sciences. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics at the University of Cincinnati in 2018 and continued on to get her Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences from UC in 2020. Riewe served as a sports nutrition graduate assistant with Cincinnati Athletics while pursuing her master’s degree.

Riewe is from Hilliard, Ohio and graduated from Bishop Ready High School.
