Briana Fields is currently an Associate Director of Compliance. She oversees all compliance aspects for Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving and Softball. She also serves as the compliance staff liaison to the Office of Student Financial Aid.
Fields came to Ohio State in September 2016 after serving for a year as the Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to Cal, she spent three years as the Director of Compliance for Rules Education at Indiana University, five years in various roles in the University of Missouri’s Athletics Compliance Office, and two years as an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Gannon University.
Fields holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Montana State University where she was a member of the women’s basketball team and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. She later received her master’s degree in Intercollegiate Athletics Leadership from the University of Washington.
