Ben Waite has been a member of The Ohio State University Department of Athletics since July 2010. In his role as the Director of Annual Giving for Ohio State Athletics, he is responsible for the growth philanthropic support for the annual fund, new annual fund donor acquisition, and supporting the Athletics Development team with analytical business strategy and reporting.
While a student as OSU, Waite worked for three years as a student-employee at Ohio Stadium and interned with the Athletics Development team before joining the staff full-time after graduation. In his position as Development Coordinator, his responsibilities included overseeing the Ohio Stadium Brick Campaign as well as managing the premium seat databases and processing all premium seat payments. In 2012, Waite was promoted to Assistant Director, Buckeye Club, during which time his responsibilities included managing the Buckeye Club’s online presence and outbound communication to assist the growth of the annual fund for the Department of Athletics which provides support for the more than 1,000 student-athletes competing in 36 varsity sports.
A native of Toledo, Ohio, Ben received his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University in 2010 and his master’s in Business Administration from the Fisher College of Business in 2016. Ben and his wife, Kara, currently reside in Dublin with their daughter, Maggie.
