Angela Beisner

Head Athletic Trainer, Olympic Sports

Angie Beisner returned to Ohio State University 1999, and works primarily with men’s lacrosse while overseeing the health care for 35 sports at Ohio State as the head athletic trainer.

Upon graduation from Ohio State, Beisner pursued a graduate assistant athletic training position at Eastern Kentucky University where she earned a master’s degree in secondary education with a specialization in allied health science. She worked primarily with football and women’s basketball.

From there, Beisner continued her career at Oklahoma State University as an assistant coordinator of sports until August 1999 where she taught physical education basic athletic training. At Oklahoma State Beisner worked with football, women’s basketball and golf.

In 1999 Beisner returned to Ohio State, working with men’s and women’s volleyball and track field and supervising the St. John Arena athletic training room, before moving to her current position.
Beisner is currently the team athletic trainer for the US Men’s Lacrosse U19 team . She also held this position as part of the 2016 FIL Gold medal winning team.

She has also received several honors including the 2015 Linda Weber Daniels Outstanding Mentor award and has previously been recognized as the OATA Athletic Trainer of the Year and with the Alan Brady Service Award for her work with Buckeye men’s lacrosse.
