- Played in 56 games for the RoughRiders in 2016-17, notching 17 points on 12 goals and five assists while serving as an assistant captain as a rookie

- Sister, Desiree, and brother, Dario, both attended Oakland University; Desiree is currently attending Michigan to obtain her master’s degree in social work, she was a two-time All-American and three-time Player of the Year for the women’s lacrosse team at Oakland, part of four conference championship teams and four WCLA national tournament appearances
- Late uncle Tommy Valentine played college golf at Georgia and was a member of the PGA for 12 years, recording 14 Top 10 finishes and beating Tomy Watson in a three-hole sudden death playoff in 1981
- Sport industry major and would like to be an NHL general manager
