Ohio State Overview
• Ronnie, whose nickname is “Rocket”, spent four years with the Ohio State program and played in 31 games
• He started at safety for the final 26 games of his career (all 13 games in both 2021 and 2022)
• Graduated in December 2022 with his degree in human development and family sciences
• Recorded 158 career tackles in three seasons of play
• Earned second-team All-America honors by the Associated Press in 2022 after a 53-tackle season that included an interception and seven PBUs
• Was one of, if not the, top defensive players on the team in 2021 and was named second-team all-Big Ten by the coaches and third-team by the media
• Led the team in tackles in 2021 with 100, including 54 solo stops, and in interceptions with two
• Became the first Buckeye in six years with 100 or more tackles in a season (Raekwon McMillan, 102 in 2015)
• Had 10 or more tackles six times during his career, including a high game of 15 against Penn State in 2021
• Also had 12 tackles vs. Michigan, 11 vs. Minnesota and Rutgers, and 10 vs. Oregon and also Northwestern (in 2022)
• His 2021 interceptions came in consecutive games against Tulsa and Akron, with his Akron interception a 46-yard “pick-6”
• Intercepted a pass vs. Toledo in 2022
• Red-shirted the 2019 season as a true freshman while rehabbing an injury that cut his senior season at DePaul Catholic short
• Once he was healthy, he was impressive with solid special teams play in 2020 and in the opportunities he was presented on defense
• Played in the first five games of 2020 before getting sidelined with an injury
• Enrolled in winter 2019 semester classes at Ohio State

• Was New Jersey’s third-ranked recruit overall in 2018 by 247Sports.com and a top 150 prospect nationally
• Chosen to play in the 2019 All-American Bowl
• Had a No. 9 ranking as an athlete according to 247Sports
• Played on both sides of the ball for DePaul Catholic, lining up at wide receiver and safety
• Totaled 609 receiving yards and nine TDs on 26 catches in an injury-shortened senior season
• Recorded 19 tackles and five pass breakups
• Caught 44 passes for 809 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior while also contributing 44 tackles, two interceptions and nine PBU on defense
• Had 945 all-purpose yards in 2017
• Finished his career with 1,418 yards receiving on 70 receptions and 22 touchdowns
• Helped DePaul Catholic win New Jersey’s Non Public Group III state title as a junior in 2017
