More on Chris: Chugunov was a January 2015 enrollee at WVU out of Montgomery High School and spent three seasons with the Mountaineers … played in eight games, including starting two games in 2017 – at Oklahoma and vs. Texas – in place of an injured Will Grier … completed 45 of 95 passes for 551 yards and three touchdowns with three interceptions … was 10 of 20 for 137 yards vs. Oklahoma and he was 14 of 26 for 189 yards and one touchdown vs. the Longhorns, with no interceptions thrown in either of his starts … is the son of Rob and Gina Chugunov … has a younger brother, Mitch, was also part of the West Virginia’s football program.
