- Competed in Olympic Trials in Summer 2021
- Fenced at 2016 Rio Olympic Games in individual and team sabre for Mexico prior to joining the Buckeyes

- Member of championship team at 2017 Senior PanAmerican Games and won individual senior silver medal

- Daughter of Ana Ames and Juan Carlos Toledo
- Has two younger siblings, Maria Ames and Eduardo Toledo
- Majoring in film studies and wants to become a movie producer
