COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State signees Kierstan Bell and Kaelynn Satterfield have each been selected to play in the prestigious Jordan Brand Classic next month in Las Vegas.
The JBC is a celebration of the next generation of basketball stars and features the top high school talent in the country. For the first time the brand’s marquee event will be held at Las Vegas’ newest sports and entertainment venue, T-Mobile Arena. The double-header will be held on Saturday, April 20 with the girls game tipping off at 6 p.m., followed by the boys game at 8 p.m. ET.
Satterfield averaged 17.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per game this season for Christ the King High School which just won the Brooklyn/Queens Championship. Bell has led Canton McKinley (25-1) to the OHSAA Regional Finals. She is a two-time Ohio Ms. Basketball and recently moved into fourth place on the OHSAA all-time scoring list with over 2,800 points. Both players are top-30 ranked recruits according to ESPN HoopGulz as Bell was also selected to play in the McDonald’s All-American game later this month.
