COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University pistol program is set for 18 competition dates over the course of 10 weekends during the 2019-20 regular season before beginning postseason inside the friendly confines of Converse Hall for the Collegiate Pistol Sectionals.
Ohio’s capital city will play host to Akron & Purdue (Oct. 12), Coast Guard (Nov. 15-16) and the Collegiate Pistol Sectionals (Feb. 7-9). Ohio State remains inside the Buckeye State boundaries for the Camp Perry Open, held less than three hours from Columbus in Port Clinton, Ohio (Jan. 18-19) and a match at Akron (Jan. 25).
Additional ventures away from campus include at Coast Guard (Oct. 5-6), at Army West Point (Oct. 18-19), the Rocky Mountain Invitational in Colorado Springs, Colo., (Oct. 25-26), at Navy (Nov. 9-10), at Texas A&M (Nov. 23-24) and at North Dakota State (Feb. 1-2).
Following the Collegiate Pistol Sectionals, Ohio State heads to West Point, N.Y., to compete in the conference championships (Feb. 15-16). The Buckeyes next travel to Fort Benning, Ga., when everything is on the line at the 2020 Intercollegiate Pistol Championships (March 14-17).
