NASSAU, Bahamas – The Ohio State women’s golf team dropped to 13th after a 14-over-par 302 in the second round of the White Sands Invitational Tuesday at Ocean Club Golf Course. The Buckeyes, who carded a 5-over 293 in the opening round, will tee off in the final round at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Sophomore Aneka Seumanutafa the Buckeyes after day two. Her 1-over-par 73 keeps her in ninth place in the 82-competitor field. Senior Adeena Shears carded a 6-over 78 to sit in 44th. Skylar Thompson is 59th after scoring a 3-over 76. Fellow sophomore Lauren Peter carded a 76, tying her score from round one while junior Sofia Seldemirova scored a 7-over 79 on day two.
Individual Kristin Jamieson carded an even-par 72 in the second round and sits tied for 34th. The score is a season and career best for the freshman, beating her 4-over 76 from the opening round.
