COLUMBUS, Ohio – Seth Delbridge, a senior on the 2017-18 Ohio State men’s gymnastics team, has qualified for the 2018 U.S. Gymnastics Championships with a top-10 performance at the 2018 Men’s National Qualifier held at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Delbridge, a native of Floyds Knobs, Ind., posted an all-around score of 76.100 and placed 10th out of 41 athletes to secure his ticket to U.S. Championships. His vault score of 14.100 was the fourth-best overall, followed by a sixth-place pommel readout of 12.950.
Three other Buckeyes will join Delbridge at the U.S. Championships on Aug. 16-19 at TD Garden in Boston, Mass. Recent graduate Sean Melton, rising senior Alec Yoder and incoming freshman Angel Leon are also set to compete.
