In total, Hillman was directly responsible for 57.5 points while lending a helping hand for the aforementioned 88 assists.
Hillman crushed the academic world, earning Academic All-Big Ten, MIVA Academic All-Conference and OSU Scholar-Athlete accolades following each season. The Finance major will be utilizing his degree in Austin, Texas after accepting an assets management position with Bares Capital Management.
Luke Lentin: “My introduction to Andrew’s leadership and work ethic came my freshman year when I was (mistakenly) paired up with him for a week of lifts. From the very first day I saw how hard he worked, how bad he wanted to get better and how he pushed everybody around him to get better too. That week and through the next two years I never saw him take a second off in the weight-room, in practice or in school. He constantly led and gave everything he had to the team. I can’t thank him enough for all he did to help me and the rest of the team.”
Michael Wright: “Andrew is a natural born leader. His hard work and dedication to the team and to the sport always made you want him on your side of the court. Andrew was always one of the first guys in and one of the last to leave. He was truly a role model to me and will continue to be. He made it easy for me to adjust at Ohio State by being a friend, teammate, and a brother. Andrew is an incredible guy, I will really miss having him around.”
