For the Ohio State men’s lacrosse team, Saturday marks the final regular season home game of the season. The squad takes on Air Force at 1 p.m. in Ohio Stadium in an important ECAC Lacrosse League game, with the league title on the line. Prior to the matchup with the Falcons, the 10 members of the senior class will be recognized.

Leading up to the game, each member of the class will be featured online. Southerners Darius Bowling, from Atlanta, and Michael Italiano, a native of Waxhaw, N.C., are featured tonight. Read below for a Q&A with the seniors.

Darius Bowling, Defense
Where do you draw your inspiration from?
I draw my inspiration from my grandmother who gives me words of encouragement before most games.

Do you have any pregame rituals?
I listen to the same songs before every game.

What are your plans after graduation?
My plans in terms of employment are still in the works, but I’ll be traveling to Germany, Switzerland, France and London this summer.

How did you feel when you were named 2014 Face-Off Yearbook Preseason Honorable Mention All-American?
Obviously I was very honored. However, I didn’t look into it too much, as it was just a preseason accolade.

What is your favorite quote by your coach?
“Do your job.”

What is the most rewarding part about being a Buckeye?
The fact everywhere you go you’ll run into someone with some relation to the university.

What is something your hometown is known for?
Atlanta is known for The World of Coke, the Aquarium, and having a Waffle House on every corner.

Describe one or two things you do in your training that are keys to your success.
I run hills and take part in the Peachtree Road Race every summer to keep in shape.

What do like to do in your spare time?
I listen to music and watch soccer matches, as I’m an avid soccer fan.

Michael Italiano, Midfield
If you have a free day, what are some of your favorite things to do away from lacrosse?
I like to take cold tubs and foam roll.

What is the best and worst thing about being a student athlete?
The best thing – Gatorade for days. The worst thing – Cerberus aka 3 headed beast aka Hansey sesh.

What is your favorite quote by your coach?
“Shoarrrr why not on a……” (insert any day of the week)

How did you decide to major in Sport and Leisure Studies?
Sports have been a part of my whole life and i found the classes interesting.

How do you set your goals?
I visualize and commit.

What are your plans after graduation?
Find a job and survive the real world.

Do you have any hidden talents?
I can color in between the lines.

What was the best advice you were ever given?
“When you resist what is, suffering begins” – Mrs. Zito (high school tutor)

If you could change one rule about your sport, what would it be?
I would add a two-point goal arc. It would make the game more exciting than it already is.

Do you have any advice for incoming and younger athletes?
Don’t eat at a donut shop 7 days a week.
