FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Jeff See earned the fourth All-American award of his career Saturday evening at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a sixth-place finish in the mile run.

The Middletown, Ohio native – a 2008 indoor All-American in the mile – crossed the finish line in 4:04.34, just behind Maine sophomore Riley Masters (4:04.29). New Mexico’s Lee Emanuel won his second NCAA mile title by finishing in a sub-four time of 3:59.26.

See’s sixth-place finish helped the Buckeyes to three team points and a 47th-place finish overall, the highest finish in Robert Gary’s four seasons as head coach and the best Buckeye performance at the NCAA championships since 2006.

*See also competed in the 3000m run, but was unable to complete the race. Dorian Ulery of Arkansas captured the championship in 8:10.52.
