Halftime of Saturday’s game served as the perfect time to honor the 2019 Hall of Fame class. The Best Fans in the Land cheered our greats and we even had a few more special guests in The Shoe.
The first half of this game completely belonged to our stud of a halfback. With 141-yards total and a 60-yard touchdown to the house, there was no stopping that man.
The Buckeyes are now 10-0 when J.K. Dobbins rushes for 100 or more yards.
The Buckeyes pitched a shutout. There isn’t much more you need to say when there is a ZERO on the scoreboard. Sacks, tackles for loss, an interception, a fumble, and clutch third down stops fueled the win for Ohio State.
Chase Young was chasing down anybody and everybody holding the football. He was all over the field and couldn’t be stopped. With 1.5 sacks and a blocked punt, Young was pivotal in keeping the shutout.
We’re two games in and we’re also two Justin Fields rushing touchdowns to open a game in. Saturday’s performance from Fields was all about commanding the offense. The young quarterback was in control from the start going 20-25 and accounting for four touchdowns.
