How many days since we lost to TTUN? Too many to count.

Saturday was a continuation of the dominance of recent years and it meant another senior class was going to be undefeated in THE Game.

The Legend of JK

Some people shy away from the big moments. Others, embrace it.

J.K. Dobbins may have had the best game of his career and he truly propelled the Buckeyes to victory.

J.K. Dobbins rushed for a career-high 211 yards as well as a career-high four touchdowns on Saturday vs. the Wolverines. He passed Ezekiel Elliott (3,961 yards) for second all-time on the Ohio State career rushing list.

Dobbins is now just the second Buckeye to eclipse 4,000 career rushing yards, joining two-time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin (5,589 yards).

Dobbins also notched his 17th-career 100-yard rushing game and eighth of the season. The Buckeyes have won all games in which Dobbins has rushed for at least 100 yards.

Dobbins has dominated against the four top-15 rush defenses he’s faced this season.

  • 172 yards and 1 TD vs. No. 4 MSU
  • 163 yards and 2 TDs vs. No. 1 Wisconsin
  • 157 yards and 2 TDs vs. No. 4 Penn State
  • 211 yards and 4 TDs vs. No. 13 Michigan.

Can’t Keep QB1 Down

After a slow start, Justin Fields found a comfort zone and started throwing the ball all around the field.

With that said, one of the biggest moments in the game came when Fields went down injured late in the 2nd half.

All the thoughts of success this season took a pause, as our QB1 was on the ground.

Then, a few minutes later, Fields built his legacy…

Fields eclipsed 300 yards passing for the second time in his career, finishing with 302 yards
and a career-high four touchdowns. Fields passed J.T. Barrett for second place on the single-season touchdown pass list as he now has 37.

Young Buck, Introduce Yourself to THE Game

Over 370 days ago, Garrett Wilson tweeted “Wild to think a year from now I’ll be strapping up for the best rivalry in sports. Can’t wait. #GoBucks”

Well, not only did Wilson finally get his chance on Saturday, but he dominated.

Wilson hauled in three passes for a career-high 118 yards and one touchdown. The
touchdown reception was his fifth of the season and every time Wilson had open space down the field, he struck fear into the defense.
