An efficient Ohio State offense scored 17 goals on 33 shots – led by five from Jack Jasinski and four from Tre Leclaire – and keyed the Buckeyes’ 17-10 victory over Boston University on Saturday. Eight different players scored while six ended up with multiple points.
With the win, the Buckeyes improved to 24-0 all-time inside the Woody Hayes Athletic Center and 10-0 over the last three seasons in the month of February.
Freshman Jack Myers made his first career start and finished with a goal and three assists. Colby Smith added two goals and an assist with Colby Barker scored the first two goals of his career.
Justin Inacio won 15-of-25 face-offs and scooped up a career-high 11 ground balls. Overall, the Buckeyes controlled the face-off X (19-of-30 on the day) and won the ground ball battle 41-25.
