- Earned many accolades, including All-State Honorable Mention, Hoosier Heritage All-Conference First Team, Hamilton County First Team, Hoosier Crossroads All-Conference First Team, USA Super Team-Central Indiana and Delaware County First Team
- Was a Westfield High School Silver Slugger
- Began his high school career at Delta High School, where he was an all-conference and all-county player as a freshman
