  • Spent the entire spring ranked in the Top 16 of the singles rankings, topping out at No. 8
  • Earned All-America status by virtue of his Top-8 seeding in the NCAA Singles Championship
  • Held a record 22-7 singles record and 12 of his 22 wins came against ranked opponents
  • Was 15-4 at the No. 1 spot and 4-1 at the No. 2 spot
  • Had a 23-2 doubles record on the season and was ranked as high as No. 11
  • Recorded five wins over Top-15 ranked players
  • Was 3-0 vs. ranked doubles opponents, including a pair of Top 20 victories
  • Went 5-1 in doubles in the Buckeyes’ five NCAA Tournament matches and 3-1 in singles
  • Had a great fall outside of collegiate matches as he reached the semi-finals in four different pro tournaments and finished runner-up at the ITF M15 in Ithaca, N.Y. and the ITF M15 in Lubbock, Texas

2020-21 (Sophomore)

  • Was one of the top singles players in the country, reaching as high as No. 5 in the ITA rankings
  • Did not lose a singles match until the NCAA Tournament, going 27-0 through the regular season and the Big Ten Tournament
  • Was 9-2 vs. ranked singles players
  • Went 9-0 at the No. 1 singles spot and 12-1 at the No. 2 spot
  • Had a 16-6 record in doubles, including a 9-0 mark with partner JJ Tracy
  • His 43 combined victories were the most on the team
  • Was forced to a third set just four times during the regular season
  • Beat No. 14 Andrew Fenty of Michigan three different times during the season
  • His third win over Fenty came in the final regular season match of the season which helped spur the Buckeyes’ comeback and solidify a share of the Big Ten East Division title

2019-20 (Freshman)

  • Had tremendous freshman season, going 19-3 in singles and 10-1 in doubles
  • Was ranked in the top-25 of the singles rankings all season and had a season-high rank of 12 for three weeks
  • Was 9-2 against ranked singles opponents
  • Won the consolation bracket in his first collegiate tournament, the ITA All-American Championship, knocking-off five ranked opponents along the way
  • Was 12-1 in dual singles matches with his only loss coming in a three-set match with No. 22 Trent Bryde at Georgia
  • Defeated No. 1 ranked Daniel Cukierman 6-4, 6-2 in the Buckeyes’ 4-2 win over No. 1 USC
  • Was the UTR National Player of the Week as well as the Big Ten Player of the Week following that win
  • Beat No. 7 Alexandre Rotsaert of Stanford 7-5, 6-4 in Palo Alto
  • Was undefeated in dual doubles matches, going 10-0
  • Had a nice run with partner Kyle Seelig, winning four consecutive doubles matches in the Buckeyes’ wins over No. 1 Texas, Arizona State, No. 1 USC and No. 7 Texas A&M

Prior to Ohio State

  • 1 player in the USTA Junior rankings
  • The No. 2 recruit in the class of 2019
  • Ranked as high as No. 10 in the world junior rankings
  • Had a career-high ATP singles ranking of 593 prior to enrolling
  • Top player in the state of New York.
  • Won the 2017 USTA Boys’ 18s National Indoor Championship and the ITF G1 event in Italy.
  • He competed in three of four ITF Grand Slams in 2018 and all four in 2019.
  • Reached the quarterfinals of the 2018 US Open juniors and 2019 Australian Open juniors as well as the round of 16 at the 2018 Wimbledon juniors
  • Also reached the finals of the finals of the doubles draw at the 2019 Australian Open juniors
  • Advanced to the quarterfinals of the ATP Challenger in Champaign, Ill., this summer
  • Finished fourth in the Boys 18 doubles at the 2019 National Championship
