COLUMBUS, Ohio – Senior co-captain Brian Rolle, who topped the hit charts in Ohio State’s 20-17 come-from-behind win over Iowa Saturday in Iowa City, is the Big Ten Conference’s Defensive Player of the Week.

Rolle, from Immokalee, Fla., and Immokalee High School, Rolle tallied a team-high 10 tackles, including a career-high three tackles for loss, to help contain nationally ranked Iowa. Rolle pushed the Hawkeye offense back 12 yards on his three tackles for loss, and four of his 10 tackles were solo stops.

Iowa entered the game averaging 30.8 points, 405.9 yards of total offense and 153.2 rushing yards per game, but Rolle and the defense limited the Hawkeyes to only 17 points, 276 yards of total offense and 81 yards on the ground.
